Born in 1852, the fifteenth year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged sixty-eight in the tenth year of the reign of King George V

Biography


Benjamin Michael Valentine Guinness was born on February 14, 1852, in Canterbury, New Zealand, his father, Francis, was 32 and his mother, Catherine, was 32. He married Annie Maria McKenzie in 1893 in New Zealand. He died on March 5, 1920, in New Zealand at the age of 68, and was buried in Linwood, Canterbury, New Zealand.
