John Clephane Guinness


Son of Francis ( Frank) Hart Vicesimus Guinness and Catherine Marian Richardson. .

Born in 1850, the thirteenth year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged fifty-four in the third year of the reign of King Edward VII  He has 96 direct descendants in the family.

Biography


John Clephane Guinness was born on 3 March 1850 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India, his father, Francis, was 30 and his mother, Catherine, was 30. He married Winifred Gertrude Boulgarre and they had four children together. He then married Eva Hindmarsh and they had six children together. He died on 23 August 1904 in Reefton, West Coast,NZ at the age of 54, and was buried there.
