Son of Edwin Rowland Guinness (Sen.) Guinness and Florence Annie Plaisted. .

Born in 1888, the fifty-first year of the reign of Queen Victoria, and died aged sixty-five in the second year of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II  He has 7 direct descendants in the family.

Biography

Edwin Rowland Guinness was born on 10 November 1888 in Timaru, Canterbury, his father, Edwin, was 41 and his mother, Florence, was 28. He married Margaret Ethel Goodwin on 10 August 1932 in New Zealand. They had two children during their marriage. He died on 6 March 1954 in his hometown at the age of 65, and was buried there.
